Wedding at Morningside Inn

This is the beautiful Brittany!  She was a sweet person to work with and was a gorgeous bride!  She was married this past June at the Morningside Inn in Frederick, Maryland.  Her photographer was Bernadette Davis with Reflective Moments Photography in Frederick, MD as well.  Bernadette did an amazing job, check out her work at http://www.reflectivemomentsphoto.com/

I used a natural bridal application with false lashes!
They looked awesome on Brittany!

May Photography Session

I was asked to do the make-up on this photoshoot back in May, and had a great time!  Marina Baranova Wickes was the photographer, she does amazing work and I would highly recommend her!  Misty Ziranski was the hair stylist on the shoot, she is the owner of the Hair Port in Westminster and always does a great job.  Robin, the client was inspired to have a photoshoot done of herself looking her best for a gift for her future husband.  Since then she was married and I'm sure her husband loved his brides gift to him!  She looked amazing, I did more of a dramatic eye with false lashes and finished with a nude lip.  Marina put together these few pictures from the shoot that showcase the make-up, thanks Marina :-)

Toni & Mike

Toni was such a delightful and easy going bride to work with. She grew up on a farm in Westminster and loves her horses. Toni and Mike chose her parents beautiful horse farm as their location to be married, and what a perfect choice! Meaghan Elliott did a great job with the photography and as you can see it was a gorgeous "down on the farm" wedding!  http://www.meaghanelliott.com/

I used false lashes on Toni, and they really made her blue eyes pop!

Congratulations Toni & Mike!

Mary & Tim

Mary and Tim were married at the
Tremont Grand in Baltimore City.
Kanda Studio's did the photography &
Erin Keilman did all the girls hair.
This was a beautiful venue, I would
recommend it to anyone.  It was a
beautiful day and Mary was a sweet and
gorgeous bride to work with.

Here I'm applying the bride's make-up, she requested that very natural colors be used. I did use false lashes on her that looked amazing!

I did the make-up application for all these beautiful ladies, they were all so sweet!

This is a great shot of Mary's lashes!

Congratulations Mary and Tim!!!

Lauren & Eric

Lauren and Eric were married this past April, and what a joy it was to be her make-up artist.  I had the pleasure of working on some of her bridal party as well.  Her two daughters looked as though they felt like princess's, so adorable!

Can you believe those are her real eyelashes, she's so lucky!  Lauren was a easy bride, she normally doesn't wear alot of make-up so I used a very natural application.  She had red as you can see in her dress so I did go a little dark with her lip, stayed in the red family using more of a brick color. She looked great!

Here is Lauren with her closest girls, her sisters and daughters! I love family pictures like this!

Gotta love those bubbles, they're always a hit with the kids at a wedding.  Kanda Studios does a fantastic job at capturing moments like this!

Congratulations Lauren and Eric!

COVERGIRL Event

Last August I was hired by Covergirl to do mini-makovers and promote some of their products. The event was at Camden Yards and took place during one of the Orioles games. They asked us to use Lash Blast Luxe Mascara which I liked and the Outlast Lipstain which I didn't care for, only one color I can say was decent.  There were 3 stations set up and we steady worked through out the whole game. The ladies were all about the free make-overs and products thats for sure!

The two beautiful ladies that worked with me are Amie Decker and Megan Rakers.  Amie is a friend of mine from high school and has her own bridal make-up business, Amie Decker Make-up. She is a terrific make-up artist.  Megan also has her own bridal make-up business called Baltimore Bridal and also is an amazing artist!  The three of us has a great time working together!
Here, Megan and I were scoping out the make-up stations before the event started.

Nothing like family

Claire and Ryan Payne 1/2/10

Above is a picture of my most favorite bride so far, my little sister Claire. She was married this past January at the Links at Gettysburg, and what a wintery fairytale wedding it was! She is naturally pretty as it is and gave me a effortless canvas to work on. I enhanced her eyes with false lashes and it gave her such a perfect hint of true elegance.

.

When I first became a make-up artist I wasn't a huge fan of strip lashes, but they have definitely improved the natural look of them. For myself, my other sister and my mother I did individual lashes. Just a few on the outer corners of the lash line is all it takes to add a slight enhancement without out shining the bride. The bride must be the most beautiful, and Claire was just that! I don't mean to brag but what can I say, I am a proud big sister! Can't wait for the day my youngest sister, Beth gets married!  Misty Ziranski and Cindie Bode did the hair for all us girls.

Krista Smith and Anthony Bogdan with Kanda Studios did the amazing photography at this wedding. http://www.gokanda.com/ In the past they have done photo's for my family and a great father/daughter pair to work with!  Highly recommend them for any portraits you may be looking to have!

Blonde Beauty

Jeannetta was a charming bride I recently got to work with back in October. She was stunning in her dress that was draped with feathers down the back, one of the most unique and fashionable dresses I've ever seen! She is a down to earth, layed back type girl, very athletic and all natural from her pretty blonde hair to her pretty face. She typically doesn't wear much make-up and I was very excited when she requested a red lip, and she pulled it off perfectly! I love a bride that isn't scared of a little splash of bold color! She was a beautiful bride on that gorgeous autumn day. Her photographer was Maria Linz Photography, who did a fabulous job.

True Ravens Fans

I was blessed to be reunited with some good friends for some goodtimes! Kate is an old friend from highschool who asked me to do her make-up for her wedding. About 3 years ago I also did her sister Sue's make-up as well, she happens to be one of my bf's! Gotta love working for friends!! Kate looked beautiful of course! And the cool thing about their wedding was that she choose black & purple, their favorite colors for their favorite team. I had a great time not only doing the make-up but enjoying good friends!  Chris Paulis was the photographer for this wedding, he has a in home studio as well. I would recommend him, his work is great!  http://www.chrispaulisphotography.com/
